Private Puppy Training
Just sit back, relax, and train your puppy
I know, it sounds crazy! Puppies are lots of work, they pee all over the house, tear up the toilet paper, and nibble on toes, so how are you supposed to sit back and relax? Simple, let's get training together! Leash and Learn's unique approach to puppy training leaves you calm and confident.
My goal with each and every puppy I work with is to help them develop into a happy, healthy, well-socialized adult dog. Every dog and family is different so the process is 100% personalized for you!
Why Should You Train Your Puppy?
Any training that you and your puppy do now is an investment that will pay off in the future. It is FAR easier to start teaching your puppy how to behave at a young age than to go back in and fix problems later. The first few weeks at home are an important time in a puppy’s life. It is the best time for you and your puppy to bond, learn how to work as a team, and learn how to communicate with each other effectively. Instead of sending your puppy away for training and missing out on this precious time, let Leash and Learn come to your home to help you.
When Can You Begin Training?
You can begin training with me before you puppy even comes home! With our initial consultation, I can give you all the tools you need to prepare for your new Puppy’s arrival. It is not unusual for me to meet your puppy and begin training him within a day or two of his arrival. Already brought puppy home? No worries, we can start at any time!
Specially Formulated Puppy Program
With our specially formulated puppy programs Leash and Learn will come to your home several times a week to fix problem puppy behaviors, lay a foundation to prevent future ones, and teach your puppy basic manners.
What is Taught in a Puppy Program?
Leash and Learn knows that each and every dog is an individual so Puppy Programs are tailored to meet your exact needs. There are some basics that are included in most packages but the behaviors taught are up to you!
Whatever your training goals may be, there are two ways we can make them happen:

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Rachel is the absolute best. She SAVED me - I had a 10 week old puppy who was "a little challenging" as Rachel would say, and I was totally in over my head. She worked with us on his resource guarding, handling issues, demand barking and separation anxiety (as well as the normal puppy stuff)! We did 8 sessions together and she helped me work with Milo on all of his issues, including ones I wouldn't even have known to look out for. She was also able to connect me to different dog owners in the area for play dates which was super helpful. She is still my go-to person for questions (which she graciously fields). 15/10 would recommend. I would be in a very different place if it wasn't for Rachel.
